- Plan ahead. Prepare. Call restaurants in advance to find out if they have a gluten free menu or if they are accommodating.
- Plan menus. Make a list of 10 "quick go-to" meals that you can rely on and rotate through these. Have ingredients on hand.
- Keep meals simple: 1) Meat/protein 2) Serve with Quinoa/GF Pasta/Rice/Potato 3) Veggie; 4) Fruit
- Create a list of all the foods/meals that you CAN eat.
- Create a binder of all your favorite gluten free recipes/foods.
- Designate a certain night of the week when meal planning: Pancake Sunday/Mexican Monday/Italian Tuesday/Stir Fry Wednesday/Crockpot Thursday/Friday is pizza...etc.
- Have a go-to list of favorite restaurants that have gluten free menus or are accommodating for preparing gluten free.
