Cheddar Apple Pie Dip
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 apple finely chopped
1/2 cup walnuts or pecans, chopped
8 oz cream cheese, softened
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
gluten free crackers or tortilla chips for dipping
1. Preheat oven to 375. Combine brown sugar and cinnamon. Add apples and nuts. Set aside.
2. Mix cream cheese and cheddar cheese in bowl. Add sour cream and blend. Spread into a 9 inch pie plate.
3. Top with apple mixture and spread out evenly. Bake 20 minutes or until bubbly and apples are semi-soft. Serve as dip with crackers. (Glutino crackers or Blue Diamond GF crackers)
Buffalo Chicken Dip
- 2 (10 oz) Hormel chunk chicken, drained
- 2 (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup Hidden Valley Ranch dressing or blue cheese dressing
- 3/4 cup hot pepper sauce (Franks)
- 1 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 bunch celery, cut into 4" pieces
- Gluten free corn tortilla chips
Heat chicken and hot sauce in skillet until heated. Stir in cream cheese and ranch. Cook, stirring until warm. Mix in 1/2 of cheese and transfer to slow cooker. Sprinkle remaining cheese over top and cook on low until hot and bubbly.
Taco Chip Dip
1. Blend: 8 oz. cream cheese, softened and 8 oz. sour cream.
2. Add: 1 tsp. garlic powder, 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce and 1 tsp. chili powder or hot sauce to taste.
3. Spread the mixture on platter and top in order the following:
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
- shredded lettuce
- grated cheddar cheese
- black olives
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerated several hours before serving. Serve with tortilla chips
Nacho Dip
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 8 oz. sour cream
- can bean dip (Fritos)
- Chili mix (Williams, but only use about 1/3 of packet)
- 1/4 cup taco sauce
- 8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
- 8 oz. shredded monterey jack cheese
Beat sour cream and cream cheese until smooth. Add bean dip, chili mix, taco sauce, and 3/4 of each cheese. Spoon into a lightly greased 9x13 pan. Top with remaining cheese and bake at 325 for 20 minutes. (Serve with tostitos)
